On the banyans on next to the pond
Cicadas are calling for summer

On the swings next to the field
Only butterflies are resting on it

The teacher's chalk on the blackboard
Are still writing non-stop

Waiting for class to end

One realizes that they've only done a little work

The confused childhood

The sun always set on that side of the mountain

A lot of days are just
A person staring blankly at the sky

That curious
That imaginative
That lonely childhood

Under the sun, dragonflies come flying by
Fields of lush green crops

Watercolor, crayons, and kaleidoscopes
Can't draw a side of that rainbow

When can one look like a high schooler
With a mature and growing face

Looking forward to vacation time, looking forward to tomorrow
